Classes Offered for Children and Adults Off Rose offers art classes to all ages and all levels of development.
The focus is to assist students to develop their own personal style of creativity.
Therefore, classes are tailored to the individual interests of each student.
ASL Classes in Art now being offered to those who are hearing impaired.
Introductory to Art This class is offered to very young students. The focus is sensory awareness.
This includes the introduction and enjoyment of various media.
Beginning Drawing & Painting Class explores blind and contour drawing, shading techniques,
color introduction and experimentation. Most media is available.
In cases, where the student wishes to paint on canvas, use oil paints,
acrylics it is expected that the student bring their own supplies.
Intermediate Drawing & Painting Class builds on skills developed in beginning lessons and moves toward principles of design.
Most media is available. In cases, where the student wishes to paint on canvas, use oil paints,
acrylics or more sophisticated media, it is expected that the student bring their own supplies. AP art students work to develop skills and deepen understanding of principles of design and creativity,
recognize their artistic ancestors aand develop portfolios.
Ceramics Class involves making hand-built works and teaches beginning glazing.
Beginning Sculpture The introduction of form through various media allows students to work 3-dimensionally and develop balance in their work.
The media used includes papier mache, found objects, wood, clay and fabric.
Semi-Private, Small Group Classes $250.00* (for a minimum series of 5 sessions)
Privates Classes - $75.00*/1.15 Hour Session
*Materials: Student grade art materials are provided in the price of the classes.
Acrylic, oil paints, stretched canvas, wood panels, etc. provided by student.
